About 2000 years ago the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, walked this earth for 33 years. He lived a totally sinless life before God, healing people and teaching them the truth about God's view of sin, but they hated Him for it 1.

So strong was their hatred that they put Him to death.

Nailed to a cross. Crucified.

What seemed to be a sad series of occurences was actually God working the greatest event this earth has seen and ever will see. There on the cross God's wrath against sin was placed upon Jesus 2, the sentence of death that was due to us, the sinner.

But God had not finished His plan. Another great event was about to take place.
