The work grew to the regions beyond

The work expanded beyond the local area. In 1922, the Adamsdown assembly and the Handsworth assembly in Birmingham, jointly commended Mr. & Mrs Henry Spencer to work in the West Indies. They set sail with their daughter Annie from Dover on August 26th for Trinidad, in a 9,000-ton ship called 'Orange Nassau', and arrived two weeks later on the 9th September. Initially they established a work in Trinidad but the Lord blessed the work and it soon spread to other parts of the West Indies, and many new assemblies were established.

Adamsdown Gospel Hall in 1953

An assembly in South Shields, Tyne & Wear, commended Mr. Ben Sutton and his wife to full time service, and one of his first engagements was a two-week series of Gospel Meetings at Adamsdown Hall. Ben and Sarah felt led to serve the Lord in South Wales and in the October of 1956 they moved to Cardiff, and joined the fellowship at Adamsdown, and stayed for a period of six years. Our brother visited many assemblies in Cardiff and in the surrounding valleys, holding Gospel meetings, and the Lord blessed with the salvation of souls.
